The smart light panel like a nanoaf shape is designed to give pop colors and personality to any room, but the problem is, after the light panel is turned off, it is a rather sterile white.
Nanoleaf has tried to change it with the range of new elements, designed to look as good as your wall when turned off as they did when turned on. Instead of white, the panel has a veneer-wood-grain layer, giving them a more natural display.
Unlike the bright colors of other nanoleaf panels, the lights of the elements just shifted between the cool ranges to warm white, once again aiming for natural nuances.
They come with 11 preset lighting effects, which imitate a crunchy fireplace or soothing waterfall, or you can make your own application. Nanoleaf says every corner of the panel can light independently, helping the lighting effect feels organic.
Similar to the remaining nanoleaf range, a hexagon-shaped element is a sensitive touch, and they can also react to music rhythms. You can set a schedule for lights, which nanoleaf said can gently wake you up in the morning and help you end at night.
Place to buy and how to use it
While new nanoaf elements are technically compatible with existing ranges – because they use the same connector that connects each panel – they are not intended to be mixed and matched, according to Nanoleaf, because it will clash with aesthetics.
And we agree – while we can see some potential for an attractive design for those who already have a nanoleaf light panel in their homes, it feels like a more classy element that can collide with a sponged shape range.
The price for the Nanoleaf Elements Starter Kit is $ 299.99 / £ 199.99 / au $ 399.99, and can now be purchased from the Nanoleaf online store in the US and Australia, while they are currently available for pre-orders in the UK.
